Flapjack

An excitable adventure-loving boy who was raised by Bubbie, a talking whale. Flapjack is K'nuckles "cabin boy" and is his inspiration to become a real adventurer.

Captain K'nuckles

The a washed-up old sailor who loves to drink Maple Syrup and claims to be the greatest pirate the world has ever known. He is always telling tall tales of his adventures and getting Flapjack wrapped up in his high seas hi-jinks. Most of his body is made of fake wooden limbs, including arms and legs and even a wooden "Sittin' muscle."

Bubbie

Bubbie is a talking whale who acts like an over-protective mother to Flapjack. She prefers the safety of Stormalong to the dangers of the open seas. Flapjack and K'nuckles live inside her mouth.

Doctor Barber

Doctor Barber is the doctor and the barber of Stormalong Harbor. He owns a small clinic and a barber shop called "Surgery & Haircuts."

Peppermint Larry

The overly-friendly owner of the Candy Barrel who supplies candy to Flapjack and K'nuckles, when the have money. Larry is married to his beloved candy-wife, who is a source of his frequent bouts of paranoia and psychosis. On numerous occasions, he's made it clear that he hates pickles.

Candy Wife

Larry's candy-wife is a non-speaking character who is normally shown as a puppet. She also appears in the 2D animated scenes peaking out from behind door frames. Candy Wife loves the finer things in life - jeweled ring-pops, blue cotton candy-like stoles, etc.
